5 design systems

Education design systems serve learners, teachers and researchers, often with strict accessibility requirements. JSTOR's Pharos is an open-source web component system for academic research tools.

FutureLearn and Pluralsight publish the pattern libraries behind their online courses, Aalto University documents its brand and digital identity, and Bridge, a lab at Brazil's Federal University of Santa Catarina, maintains the Bold React design system.

Universities and course platforms have to meet public accessibility rules, which makes their guidance a practical reference for inclusive design.
