6 design systems

Financial products need interfaces that build trust: clear numbers, careful wording and forms that are hard to get wrong. Intuit's Harmony covers QuickBooks and its small-business products, and Morningstar's system serves investment research tools.

Monzo's entry is a tone of voice guide rather than a component library, a good example of how a bank can write plainly about money. Nordnet publishes brand and design guidelines, and the insurers LocalTapiola (Duet) and Foyer document their own component systems.

Most of these are not open source, which is common in regulated industries, but their public documentation is still worth reading.
